Standard First Aid & CPR (Includes AED)

First Aid is the emergency help given to an injured or suddenly ill person using readily available materials.

CPR stands for Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation, which provides artificial respiration and chest compression for a person without vital signs.

Courses are delivered by certified trainers and meet or exceed Occupational Health and Safety Standards.

Blended First Aid combines 4-8 hours of online learning and 8 hours of in-class practical skills. Online learning can be done at any time but has to be completed prior to attending the classroom portion.

Re-certification is a one-day practical training course scheduled during the in-class practical date of our Blended First Aid courses. Please bring your current, not expired certification to class as proof of eligibility to re-certify. Canadian Red Cross Certification.

You will not only receive interactive instruction with quizzes to test your knowledge but also multimedia presentations to make for an engaging learning experience.TDG certification is valid for 3 years upon completion and is non-transferable.

An overview of TDG Requirements and Regulations, Responsibilities of Shippers, handlers and carriers, Nine classes of Dangerous Goods, Shipping Documentation, Placards, Labels and Safety Marks, Different means of containment, Special Situations, Emergency Response Plans (ERAP) and actions

WHMIS is for any person exposed to hazardous materials in the workplace. The WHMIS course centers around the Workplace Hazardouns Materials Information System that applies to hazardous materials that are intended for use at workplaces.

What is WHMIS? WHMIS Hazards Groups, WHMIS SDS, WHMIS Symbols & Labels, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), What to do if something goes wrong? Emergency actions, Special situations.

WHMIS is for any person exposed to hazardous materials in the workplace. The WHMIS online course centers around 5 WHMIS stories that bring in real-life events, told by real people in real workplaces. The video, animations, engaging games, and skill-building exercises will make for an engaging interactive learning experience.
