This five-day course covers the following topics: Introduction - Legislation & Pollution Control, Safety - Plant & Collection Works, Basic Technical Skills, Support Systems, Administration, Lagoons, Wastewater Treatment & Collection (Principles/Equipment). Upon completion, you will be prepared to write the Saskatchewan Class 1 Certification Exams for Wastewater Treatment Collection, which will be administered on the last day of the course.

Exams must be booked at least 10 business days in advance, with the option of writing a paper-based or a web-based exam. Paper-based exams are in Esterhazy and Web-based exams are in Yorkton.

Students intending to sit for the examination are seeking to challenge the course requirements.

This five-day course covers basic math, water sampling, water testing procedures, ground and surface water treatment, distribution system hydraulics and components, backflow and cross-connection control, disinfection, pumps, and operator safety.. Upon completion, you will be prepared to write the Saskatchewan Class 1 Certification Exam for Water Treatment & Water Distribution, which will be administered on the last day of the course.

This five-day course covers surface water quality, supply and treatment, disinfection and safety, filter optimization, THM, corrosion, backflow and cross-connection control, distribution system hydraulics, pumps and components, instrumentation, and system operation and maintenance. Upon completion, you will be prepared to write the Saskatchewan Class 2 Certification Exam for Water Treatment & Water Distribution, which will be administered on the last day of the course.
